Meet the History Brand
of Sri Lanka
Kushan Neranjana (කුෂාන් නේරංජන) teaches History to Grade 9, O/L and Advanced Level students. Around the country he is known as the History brand of Sri Lanka.
He is a government school teacher, a visiting lecturer at the University of Peradeniya and a practicing master of Angampora, the traditional martial art of Sri Lanka. He holds a BA (Hons) special degree in History. In class he ties what actually happened to what the paper asks, so students leave understanding the period and still write answers that score.
